HMS Enterprise(Enterprize)

The first Human naval ship to bear the name Enterprise was a British sixth-rate captured from the French and renamed HMS Enterprize in 1705. She ultimately became the ancestor of a great line of vessels, both seagoing and spacefaring, that spanned for at least the next thousand years.
From 2151 until 2161, Jonathan Archer, the captain of the Earth Starfleet starship Enterprise, had a painting of the HMS Enterprize hanging in his ready room. (Star Trek: Enterprise)
While viewing the captain's display of ships named Enterprise in 2154, Shran asked Archer if he had personally served aboard the various vessels on display. Archer noted that many of these vessels were active before his time, and that the HMS Enterprize, specifically, sailed almost 400 years ago.

USS Enterprise (CVN-65)

The supercarrier, USS Enterprise (CVN-65), formerly CVA(N)-65, is the world's first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier and the eighth U.S. Naval vessel to bear the name. Like her predecessor of World War II fame, she is nicknamed the Big E and her name is well known throughout the world. At 1,123 feet (342.3 m), she remains the longest naval vessel in the world, though her 93,500 tons are surpassed by the Nimitz-class. She is also the only aircraft carrier to house more than two nuclear reactors. Enterprises eight-reactor propulsion design was rather conservative, with each A2W reactor taking the place of one boiler.
Enterprise was intended to be the first of a class of six, but construction costs ballooned and the remaining vessels were never laid down resulting in her being the only ship of her class. USS America (CV-66) was ordered as a conventional Kitty Hawk-class aircraft carrier. CVN-67, with a new reactor design, was reordered during construction as the conventionally-powered USS John F. Kennedy. Series production of nuclear carriers finally commenced with USS Nimitz (CVN-68), the first of 10 Nimitz-class supercarriers. Because of her expense, Enterprise was launched without weapon systems (she was originally intended to receive two twin Terrier missile launchers); a later retrofit added three Phalanx mounts and two NATO Sea Sparrow missile launchers. In the 2000s her armament was refitted again, gaining two RIM-116 Rolling Airframe Missile launchers while dispensing with the forward-most Phalanx mount.
Enterprise is currently homeported at Norfolk, Virginia. As one of the oldest carriers in the fleet, she is scheduled for decommissioning in 2014-2015. Her intended replacement is the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78). Her current commanding officer is Captain Lawrence Rice.

Enterprise Shuttle OV-101

Enterprise OV-101 & The Cast Of Star Trek

Construction began on the first Orbiter on June 4, 1974. Designated OV-101, it was originally planned to be named Constitution. However, a write-in campaign caused it to be renamed after the Starship Enterprise, featured on the television show Star Trek.
The design of OV-101 was not the same as that planned for OV-102, the first flight model; the tail was constructed differently, and it did not have the interfaces to mount OMS pods. A large number of subsystems - ranging from main engines to radar equipment - were not installed on this vehicle, but the capacity to add them in future was retained.
During summer 1976, the orbiter was used for ground vibration tests, allowing engineers to compare data from an actual flight vehicle with theoretical models.
On September 17, 1976, Enterprise was rolled out of Rockwell's plant at Palmdale, California. In keeping with its name, Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry, and most of the cast of the original series of Star Trek (minus William Shatner, Majel Barrett, and Grace Lee Whitney), were on hand at the dedication ceremony, and the show's theme music was played. Star Trek: The Motion Picture contains a scene wherein former captain Willard Decker shows V'ger paintings of former spaceships that were named "Enterprise." The original space shuttle is one of the spaceships depicted. During the opening montage of each episode of Star Trek: Enterprise, the Space Shuttle Enterprise can be briefly seen rolling out of its hangar. Artistic renderings of various ships bearing the name of Enterprise can be seen hanging on the wall of Captain Jonathan Archer's quarters, including the aforementioned Space Shuttle.

ENTERPRISE NX-01

Commissioned in 2151, Enterprise NX-01 was the first starship of the NX class, Starfleet's first long-range exploration vessels with a theoretical top speed of warp 5, considerably faster than any other human vessels of the era.Captain Archer made first contact with the Suliban, Tholians, Klingons, and Romulans, among others, although few of these encounters were peaceful. Enterprise established a human presence in previously uncharted regions of space, bringing together the Andorians and Vulcans two species who had been on the verge of war for years.The starship Enterprise was pivotal in defending Earth from a dangerous alien species known as the Xindi in 2153-2154. The ship suffered severe damage during the mission and the crew suffered heavy casualties, but managed to return to Earth after an unexpected detour to an alternate version of 1944 in which Nazi Germany had conquered the eastern United States; although the vessel did not land during that mission, it was brought within tens of meters from the ground in order to help restore the timeline.

The first Starfleet vessel named Enterprise, this ship was commissioned in 2245. Commanded in turn by Capt. Robert April, Capt. Christopher Pike and Capt. James T. Kirk, this ship is one of the most legendary starships in Federation history. So significant were the exploits of this ship and her crew that in 2277 the practice of having a separate insignia for each starship was abolished, and the Enterprise insignia became the official symbol for the entire Starfleet. Also, each new starship Enterprise carries the same registry number as the original, followed by a one letter suffix to differentiate from its predecessors. The original U.S.S. ENTERPRISE was destroyed in 2285 by James T. Kirk to prevent her from being captured by Klingons in the Mutara sector.

The missions of this ship while under the command of Captain James Tiberius Kirk were the subject of the original Star Trek television series as well as the first three Star Trek movies.

The second ENTERPRISE was also a Constitution-class ship. She was started in 2286.This ship, originally designated U.S.S. Yorktown was redesignated U.S.S. Enterprise and assigned to the command of Capt. James T. Kirk, following an incident in which Kirk and his crew were responsible for saving Earth for the effects of an alien probe (ST IV : TVH). Though Kirk held the rank of Admiral before taking command of NCC-1701-A, he was demoted to Captain for disobeying a direct order from the Star Fleet Commander of the time, Fleet Admiral Morrow. This demotion gave Star Fleet and Kirk the excuse needed to give Kirk command of a starship once again, and the renaming of this ship was considered a gift to Kirk by StarFleet Command. This vessel played a crucial role in the Khitomer Conference of 2293, preventing a group of conspirators from sabotaging the Conference and assasinating President Ra-ghoratrei of the United Federation of Planets and Chancellor Azetbur of the Klingon Empire. The ship was decommissioned along with her command crew after the Conference.

The missions of this ship while under the command of Captain James Tiberius Kirk were the subject of the fifth and sixth Star Trek movies.

The third ENTERPRISE was built at the Antares-Shipyard. Although the decission to adapt this ship to the failed prototype U.S.S EXCELSIOR was disputed, it was right. Evidently, many Excelsior-class-ships were built. Many of them are still in service. The NCC-1701-B was very important in the discovery of the space on the other side of the Gourami-sector. This ship and its crew were responsible for the cartograph of over 142 solar systems and the first contacts with 17 civilisations. On her first flight in 2294 it encountered the Nexus, a high energy-phenomenon. Kirk died while he tried to rescue the ship.

U.S.S. VOYAGER NCC-74656

Intrepid Class

* Max speed: warp factor 9.975
* decks: 15
* crew: 141
Dimensions:
* lenght 344 m
* width 112 m
* high 85m

Federation starship, Intrepid -class, Starfleet registry number NCC-74656, an experimental scout vessel, using the latest in Federation technology, from new space-friendly overdrive warp core to an Emergency Medical Hologram, commanded by Captain Kathryn Janeway. Voyager had a gross mass of 700,000 metric tons ("Phage" [VOY]) and was fifteen decks thick. ("Caretaker" [VOY]).
Built originally for shorter missions, the Voyager had a complement of 38 photon torpedoes as of stardate 48546.2. ("The Cloud" [VOY]). Voyager had a crew complement of 141 and had a sustainable cruising velocity of warp factor 9.975. The ship featured improved computer systems in which some traditional optical processors were replaced with bio-neural circuitry. ("Caretaker" [VOY]). Voyager was also equipped with conventional isolinear optical circuits. ("Learning Curve" [VOY]).
In 2371, during a mission to capture Maquis terrorists who had escaped into the Badlands, the Voyager was violently propelled into the Delta Quadrant by a displacement wave generated by the Caretaker. Stranded some 70,000 light-years from home, Captain Janeway invited the crew of a similarly stranded Maquis vessel to join the Voyager crew, and asked Maquis officer Chakotay to serve as her second-in-command. ("Caretaker" [VOY]).
The Starship Voyager had no counselor aboard. ("The Cloud" [VOY]). Cabin 125-A on Deck 2 was originally designated as the captain's private dining room. Because power availability was limited after the ship was stranded in the Delta Quadrant, the crew adopted a system of replicator usage rationing in order to conserve energy. As part of this effort, Neelix converted part of the mess hall into a makeshift kitchen, where he prepared a wide range of delicacies for the crew. ("Phage" [VOY]).
Voyager had a stellar cartography department. ("Time and Again" [VOY]). The warp core on Voyager was ejected on stardate 48734, when Chakotay sought to prevent the ship from entering a nebula inhabited by the Komar. The core was subsequently recovered and reinstalled. ("Cathexis" [VOY]).
